Based on an article written by Sue Bratcher about the local history of businesses in LeRoy, The Darlington Lumber Co. was sold to Alexander Lumber Co in April of 1914 and operated under the name S.R. Cornish Lumber Co. before being changed to The Alexander Lumber Co. The first manager of this location was Frank E. Jones. The new building was built and occupied by August of 1960. |
