Based on written records, the first sales we made in Gibson City were made in January of 1904. The business was then sold to Fred Miller in January of 1915. Alexander Lumber Co. returned to Gibson City in December of 1999 with the purchase of Henry Hager Lumber Co. The first manager of this current yard was John Zander.
