| Based on records in our files, Alexander Lumber Co. purchased the original Crystal Lake yard from Crystal Lake Lumber & Coal Co. on June 8 1925. We purchased the old lumber yard in McHenry from the Wilbur Lumber Co. in January of 1922. The first manager who ran the McHenry yard for us was George H. Johnson. We merged these two lumber yards into the Ridgfield location in October of 2009. |
